Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 6:02 am. The day and time our first born little angel, Edie, finally comes out to play! Of course, she manages to hold the attention of many friends and family members for 22 1/2 hours of labor and then kicks in a little drama at the end with a tight umbilical cord around her neck. What a grand entrance. But as soon as Ben and I see her teeny tiny little face, we're in love. She weighed in at a nearly unbelievably small 6 lbs. 9 oz. (small for us big parents) and 20 inches long. The things you notice immediately are her very long and slender fingers, large feet and perfect pink little lips. We're pretty sure she's the cutest dang baby ever born. Disputes will be settled by me in a three round bought of leg wrastlin'.
